Printing Issues

 

  1. How do I get to my photos?

    If you hired us to cover an event or if you were at an event where we photographed you and you would like to see your photos you can click here.  If your event is not listed in the public events, then it you will need a keyword, or password to view the private events, which we can provide for you.  Just send an email to cwalker71@gmail.com with the name and date of the event.
     
  2. Can my friends and family order pics themselves, or do I have to order for them?

    You can give your friends and family the link to our web site and your event keyword and they can order whatever prints they like on their own and have them mailed directly to them.
     
  3. How long will my photos be available on your site?

    Most likely your photos will be available indefinitely.  However, realistically we do guarantee that your photos will be available on our site for at least 24 months.  However, we currently have no plans to delete files older than that from the site.
     
  4. Are there negatives of my photos in case something happens to them?

    Yes.  Our cameras, even though they are digital, produce "RAW" data files that are considered "negatives" of the photos that are produced from them.  These files are archived on DVD disks in case they are ever needed in the future.
     
  5. Can I mix and match options in your packages?

    Yes.  You can take any package and customize it with the available options and add-ons to make sure you get everything you want.  We are very flexible on this issue.  Our top priority is that you are happy with your purchase and they you get everything you can with your budget.
     
  6. I already have a Snapfish Account, can I access my photos with it?

    There are two ways:
     
    1. If you would like to do something special with a specific photo, like make a poster, or a mouse pad, coffee mug, etc, you can choose the "Download" option when purchasing that photo. Then we you receive an uncropped image that you can upload it to your Snapfish account.
       
    2. If you would like access to your all of your photos on Snapfish, you can purchase a DVD of the image files (rather than one at a time) and then upload them to your account.

Photography Issues

 

  1. Are deposits refundable?

    Deposits are refundable up to 48 hours before your event. Any out of pocket expenses we incur on your behalf in preparation for your event, such as travel bookings, are not refundable.
     
  2. Can you shoot in low light?

    Low light and bright light is not a problem.  Action and Sports shots outdoors in low light can be a problem if the subject is more than 10-20 feet away from the camera. Indoor sporting events with typical indoor lighting, like in a gymnasium, is not a problem.  Dance recitals and plays that are on a well lit stages or in a theater are also no problem.  Indoor parties and receptions in halls or clubs where the lights are dimmed is not a problem.
     
  3. What if what I want you to shoot is far away? 

    They may be some lighting considerations we can discuss, but typically our long telephoto lenses (200-300mm) can capture objects hundreds of feet away.  We normally use lenses like this at sporting events.  Soccer fields and Football fields, Graduations, are no problem.
     
  4. How far will you travel for a shoot?

    We will travel up to 500 miles.  We have daily rates for jobs more than 100 miles away and standard business rates for hotels and travel would also apply.
     
  5. I am interested in the "Bridal Prep and Dressing Shots" for my wedding.  Does that include the groom and groomsman as well?

    Unfortunately we cannot be in two places at once.  Traditionally this is a service just for the Bride and her girls.  However, if the Groom and his men are getting ready in the same place, we will be happy to include them as well.
     
  6. What kind of equipment do you use?

    We use Nikon Digital SLR camera and lenses, 10.2 Megapixels or higher.
     
  7. Do you offer discounts for repeat work?

    If you book more than 3 shoots or events with is we give you a 20% loyalty discount off our photography services (labor only).  We're sorry but discounts cannot be used for printing, as we do not print in house.
     
  8. Do you do subcontract work?

    Yes.  If you need to outsource your photography work, or if you have overflow work, we will be happy to fill that need for you.
     
  9. Do you license your photos for commercial use?

    Yes.  We do have standard license agreements and pricing is negotiable based on the end use for the photos to be licensed.
     
  10. Can you do surveillance work?

    No.  We are not licensed to do private investigative work, nor do we do subcontract work for investigation firms.  We will also not do work that is considered "paparazzi" in nature.
